A Pneumatic Conveying Concept for gentle Material Transport

Pelletron offers various types of pneumatic conveying systems for powders and other granular applications.
Pneumatic Conveying
Any pneumatic conveying system creates friction and fines. In addition to the optimized Strandphase conveying, Pelletron uses Pellbow pipe bends to further reduce the creation of fines and the DeDuster to remove remaining fines. Pelletron calls the combination of all three pellcon3. According to Pelletron, the resulting conveying system reduces friction and creation of fines, is easy to operate, easy to maintain and low in investment costs.

Belt Warning and Inspection System increases Operational Safety

Conti Protect warning systems protect conveyor belt systems from major damage.
Conveyor Belt Control
Conti Protect warning systems protect conveyor belt systems from major damage, thereby making an important contribution to increasing operational safety, thanks to a reduction in damage-related idle times. The Splice Elongation Measurement is designed to monitor large conveyor belt systems, and detects irregularities in the splice length with the help of magnetic markings.

Mobile Harbour Crane made for small Operations

The Terex Quaymate M50 is also suitable for limited investment budgets.
Ship Loading & Unloading
The Terex Quaymate M50, manufactured by Terex Port Solutions, has been designed as an entry model for small maritime and river ports aiming to professionalise their cargo handling. With an efficient diesel-electric drive, this purpose-built crane model, with 50 t maximum lifting capacity, 36 m radius, and 50 m/min hoisting speed, provides operators of smaller ports with an economical as well as user and environmentally friendly machine.

Bulk Flow Analyst new Features include improved Custom Cluster Definition

Starting in Bulk Flow Analyst version 15.0, users can define multiple cluster shapes in a material condition, much in the same way Custom size-distribution is used.
DEM Simulation Software
The latest Version of "Bulk Flow Analyst", the DEM Simulation Software by Applied DEM, Inc., features some major improvements to both the custom clusters and the particle blocks. Each has been upgrades to allow more customizable information as well as make it easier for the user to add these features to their simulation. The Motion Manager was also re-introduced in version 15 with a more advanced control system.

Material Handler modernizes Coal Supply in Power Plant

Terex Fuchs SHL860D material handler handling coal in the industrial power plant at Henkel, Düsseldorf, Germany.
Bulk Material Handling
Terex Port Solutions together with Terex Fuchs for the first time commissioned a jointly developed custom bulk handling solution for use in an industrial company at Henkel AG & Co KGaA in Düsseldorf, Germany, in July 2015. A Terex Fuchs SHL860D material handler with a cranked boom and a maximum working radius of 18 m was fitted to a rail-mounted undercarriage specially designed for this application.

New Rubber Lifter Bars ensure longer Life and reduced Noise Pollution

Composite steel is currently the traditional material of choice for primary and some secondary milling applications.
Ball Mills
Trelleborg’s engineered products operation has supplied a "lower cost, long lasting" rubber lifter bar solution to Australia’s largest open pit gold mine for one of their ball mills. A valuable alternative to traditionally used composite steel, they offer a number of significant benefits such as a longer life and reduced downtime.

In-Pit Crushing & Conveying
Metso has successfully put into trial operation a state-of-the-art, in-pit crushing and conveying system for the Olkon (Olenegorskiy GOK) iron ore mine in Russia. After a two-year construction period, the system is now operating at full speed and yielding significant benefits. Before the Metso solution, Olkon relied on a traditional crushing process with no in-pit facilities.
