The capacity of Metso's Tampere factories will be increased and occupational safety improved with the new production line for Lokotrack mobile crushing plants. The investment of approx. EUR 1 million will significantly shorten the delivery times of equipment models put into line assembly production. The construction work for the new line will already start during the summer, and the first new Lokotrack equipment would come out of the line in Q1 2018.

Cemex and Suez launch new Waste-to-Fuel Facility

At the Cemex Rugby cement plant, United Kingdom, a new facility has been launched which turns waste into high-specification fuel. The new facility will supply the cement plan with a sustainable alternative to fossil fuels for the next 25 years. The Solid Recovered Fuel facility, owned and operated by international recycling and waste management company Suez, will supply the a direct replacement for fossil fuel, manufactured using nothing but regionally-sourced rubbish.

Iron Road signed MoU to progress Rail and Port Components

Alloycorp, through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Avanti Kitsault Mine Ltd., is spending approx. USD 1 billion to develop the Avanti Kitsault Project into one of the top four primary Molybdenum mines in the world.
