Master Magnets introduces mobile tracked Eddy Current Separator

The MasterTrax incorporates a 1500 mm wide Master Magnets ECS with a rare earth drum magnet for the removal of fine ferrous metals.

Technological advances in Eddy Current Separation over the last 10 years have significantly improved the efficiency, recovery rates and throughput capabilities of a machine that has always been one of the recycling industry’s soundest investments. In many cases, it is not uncommon for an Eddy Current Separator to pay for itself within the first six months of operation.

Looking to the long Haul

The recent additions to RJT Excavations’ fleet are a 50 tonne EC480E excavator and an L180H loading shovel, both of which have been assigned to the company’s contract crushing division.
Contract Crushing
RJT Excavations Ltd of Jedburgh in the Scottish Borders has chosen to opt for new equipment from Volvo Construction Equipment based on the overall total cost of ownership for its plant fleet. The recent additions to RJT Excavations’ fleet are a new 50 t Volvo EC480E excavator rigged for mass excavation and an L180H loading shovel complete with a 4.6 m³ rehandling bucket, both of which have been assigned to the company’s contract crushing division.

Metso to supply Equipment to Boliden's Aitik Copper Mine in Sweden

Metso and Boliden have cooperated since the 1960s. Previous deliveries to Aitik include two autogenous mills, which, at that time, were the largest ever supplied by Metso.
Surface Crushing Station
Boliden has selected Metso to supply equipment for a new surface crushing station at the Aitik copper mine in northern Sweden. The supply consists of two primary gyratory crushers, two rock breakers, two apron feeders, chutes, conveyors, spare & wear parts, engineering and installation. The value of the order will not be disclosed. The order is included in Metso's Q3 orders received.
