Dinnissen Modular Mixing Plant offers Certainty and Time Savings

Mixing Plant Project
Dinnissen has recently built a complete mixing plant for a German client, which includes six bulk bag unloading stations for the raw materials. The installation was intended for their new plant in Asia and the client wanted absolute assurance that the system worked smoothly with their somewhat sticky raw materials. It was also necessary to set up the facility in Asia in a very short period of time.

Metso to supply Equipment to Boliden's Aitik Copper Mine in Sweden

Metso and Boliden have cooperated since the 1960s. Previous deliveries to Aitik include two autogenous mills, which, at that time, were the largest ever supplied by Metso.
Surface Crushing Station
Boliden has selected Metso to supply equipment for a new surface crushing station at the Aitik copper mine in northern Sweden. The supply consists of two primary gyratory crushers, two rock breakers, two apron feeders, chutes, conveyors, spare & wear parts, engineering and installation. The value of the order will not be disclosed. The order is included in Metso's Q3 orders received.

South African manufactured Screens chosen for Australian Iron Ore Mine again

MBE Minerals reports it has secured yet another export contract from Australia for the supply of its custom engineered and manufactured heavy duty vibrating screens. The South African original equipment manufacturer (OEM) attributes the ongoing successes being achieved in Australia to its ability to produce vibrating screens that offer reliable operation in the mining sector.

Skouries Technical Study approved, Construction to recommence

The approval of the Technical Study enables Hellas Gold to recommence construction activities at the Skouries Project site, which were suspended in January 2016.
Gold-Copper Mining Project
Eldorado Gold Corporation confirmed that Hellas Gold S.A., a Greek subsidiary of Eldorado, has received from Greece's Ministry of Energy and Environment the approval of the updated Technical Study for the Skouries Project in Halkidiki, Northern Greece. The approval of the Technical Study enables Hellas Gold to recommence construction activities at the Skouries Project site, which were suspended in January 2016.

FLSmidth to supply Equipment for Copper-Magnetite Plant in Russia

FLSmidth has won an order from Norilsk Nickel to supply flotation cells, gravity concentrators, magnetic separators, pumps, cyclones, regrind mills, thickeners and filters as well as a complete plant automation system for a plant in Russia.

FLSmidth has received an order from the Russian minerals producer Norilsk Nickel Group of approximately DKK 600 million (approx. USD 98 million) for the engineering and supply of various bundled equipment for a complete 'process island' of the Group's Bystrinskoye copper-magnetite plant. The plant will be located in the Zabaikalsky Kral region in Eastern Siberia, Russia.

Tenova to carry out Definitive Feasibility Study for Baobab' Tete Project

The iron ore resource to be mined in the greenfields Tete project comprises of magnetite and includes vanadium.
Definitive Feasibility Study
Tenova Mining & Minerals South Africa, the South African market focused operating arm of the Tenova Mining & Minerals Group, has been nominated to carry out a Definitive Feasibility Study (DFS) for London Stock Exchange-listed Baobab Resources. The Definitive Feasibility Study will be done on Baobab Resources’ pig iron and ferro-vanadium project in Mozambique’s Tete region.
